Supervision begins before the doors open

Young children should wait beside an adult, away from the door line. Enter and leave together only after the car has stopped and the doors are fully open.

At the doorway

Hands, feet and toys must not be used to hold doors. Use the door-open button when necessary or wait for the next car. Keep fingers away from panel gaps and door edges.

Inside the car

Children should stand calmly, avoid jumping or running, and not lean on the doors. Buttons should be used only for the intended floor or emergency communication.

If the elevator stops

Use the alarm or intercom, do not force the doors and wait inside for trained help. A child with a phone should share the building and situation with a trusted adult or management.
